I never quite figured out why the sexual urge of men and women differ so much. And I never have figured out the whole Venus and Mars thing. I have never figured out why men think with their head and women with their heart.FOR EXAMPLE:
One evening last week, my girlfriend and I were getting into bed. Well, the passion starts to heat up, and she eventually says, ‘I don’t feel like it, I just want you to hold me.’I said, ‘WHAT??!! What was that?!’
So she says the words that every boyfriend on the planet dreads to hear…‘You’re just not in touch with my emotional needs as a woman enough for me to satisfy your physical needs as a man.’
She responded to my puzzled look by saying, ‘Can’t you just love me for who I am and not what I do for you in the bedroom?’Realizing that nothing was going to happen that night, I went to sleep.
The very next day I opted to take the day off of work to spend time with her. We went out to a nice lunch and then went shopping at a big, big unnamed department store. I walked around with her while she tried on several different very expensive outfits. She couldn’t decide which one to take, so I told her we’d just buy them all. She wanted new shoes to compliment her new clothes, so I said, ‘Lets get a pair for each outfit.’We went on to the jewelry department where she picked out a pair of diamond earrings. Let me tell you… she was so excited. She must have thought I was one wave short of a shipwreck. I started to think she was testing me because she asked for a tennis bracelet when she doesn’t even know how to play tennis.
I think I threw her for a loop when I said, ‘That’s fine, honey.’ She was almost nearing sexual satisfaction from all of the excitement. Smiling with excited anticipation, she finally said, ‘I think this is all
dear, let’s go to the cashier.’I could hardly contain myself when I blurted out, ‘No honey, I don’t feel like it.’
Her face just went completely blank as her jaw dropped with a baffled, ‘WHAT?’I then said, ‘Honey! I just want you to HOLD this stuff for a while. You’re just not in touch with my financial needs as a man enough for me to satisfy your shopping needs as a woman.’
And just when she had this look like she was going to kill me, I added, ‘Why can’t you just love me for who I am and not for the things I buy you?’Apparently I’m not having sex tonight either….but at least that bitch knows I’m smarter than her….

I honestly dont know if numbering the houses helped in any way. Weren’t the houses numbered before they put these blue numbers? I remember they used to ask us about the number of our building and we used to say 28, and people did not find a problem finding it..
The new blue numbers are made to make the directions process easier.. does it? you cant just say for instance Shmeisani, Shaker bin Zaid street, building number 25… good luck finding that.. you would still have to describe it step by step, “ba3ed 7ada3ek il malek 3abdalla fi isharet abu judom or madraset waheb tamari”, ” first left, second right, fi mini market,……. and then look for building number 25″ how did that help?
I am just waiting for the GPS to work in Jordan and see how will that go…
Now we come to the weirder part… I have noticed that all of the buildings are numbered, using only numbers and not letters, except for ours, its 9 ج…. our building has always been number 25, why is it 9 now and why does it have a number? (check out the pic)

How do you identify your feelings when you hear that your ex is engaged or getting married?
I am not talking about the ex that you are not over, cause I hope to God I would never experience that, I know a lot of people who did and I know its devastating.. I am talking about the ex that you are totally over you became good friends afterwards.
I just saw the picture of my ex and his fiancé on facebook.. I cant describe the feeling.. its not jealousy, its not anger, because I am sure I am over him and we both figure out that we are not the people we are looking for but still its something I cant describe..
Maybe I feel sad because he did not tell me that their relationship is serious and that he is getting engaged despite the fact that we are good friends, maybe the picture brought back some memories that I erased a long time ago. Again not jealousy and not that I wish I was in her shoes, but all the memories when I wished I was came back… all the memories of that period and how my funny, warm stupid feelings where back then came back… do you understand what I mean? I don’t J
I don’t know why I don’t feel like sending him a message congratulating him.. is it because I feel sad, as a friend, because he did not confide in me and tell me earlier and that I had to find out like everyone else? Is it because I know that I lost my friend? because not telling me about the engagement means he does not want me in his life anymore?.. I do feel happy for him and wish him all the best, but it still feels weird..
